Primary Purpose Summary
Responsible for quality, staffing, training, repairs of molds and equipment, schedules, policies and budgets as they apply to the production floor.
Primary Duties
Ensure production efficiency targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
Oversees adherence to the quality plan for all parts manufactured in the molding room.
Maintains the required staffing levels and the necessary training for each in accordance with all personnel policies.
Provides direction to the work force in executing the schedule as worked out with Production Control.
Monitors the Preventive Maintenance schedules for all equipment in the molding room.
Oversees the Toolroom in establishing priorities for mold repairs and maintenance.
Responsible for formulating and keeping within the operating budget.
Coordinates with other departments to expedite the correction of any irregularities to the achievement of Company goals.
Implementation and enforcement of SQF and GMP procedures to maintain required certifications.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
10+ years experience with a strong technical background as well as supervisory experience.
